Let’s not learn from the shameful events in our history; let’s suddenly pretend they never happened?

Can I have the TN Tea Party removed from the history books? Because if it’s that easy to gloss over the bad parts of American history, surely their existence qualifies.

This disgusts me. Changing it up, playing it down or playing it up, doesn’t change what actually happened and doesn’t change the horrors that the United States has committed (I know Republicans, it’s hard to believe that the USA would make a mistake! /Sarcasm). If we don’t properly learn about our history, how are we supposed to learn from it?

These people terrify me.
